Hemel Hempstead Town v Torquay United, 23rd September 2023
Well, time for the closest away game (just) for us Northern fans... A "pleasant" trip down the M1.....
Looking forward to being there and seeing if TUFC can continue the recent run and if results go our way, we could be top of the league.
Who'd have thought that after the first home game?
Anyway, another clean sheet last week - albeit in the Cup, but they all count....
Hemel have only lost twice, but have drawn four of their last five games, so fingers crossed that we add an "L" to their recent form guide.
Whoever has kidnapped the real Brett Mc, please keep him and we will continue to pay the money as agreed....
Hoping that Jarv is fit to play, and maybe we will see one - or both - of Asa or Daws....
I'm sure that - as usual - the Yellow Army will be out in force, so see you there.
Safe travels everyone.
Up the Gulls.
Prediction, Torquay 3-1 win.

This match presents another real test, Hemel Hempstead have beaten Yeovil, 4 of their last 5 match's have been against sides in the top 9 .
Winning away at Chelmsford and drawing with Maidstone, Truro and Worthing, so absolutely no mugs, expecting a tough afternoon here.
game ending in a 1.1 draw.
