Dover 1 Torquay 5.

Even the Dover Fans are predicting a hammering so they must know that their squad have never played a League Match together and the Manager has had difficulty with signings.

Potential banana skin this one (sloping pitch, crap weather), but still going for a narrow Torquay victory:

Dover 1 Torquay 3 (Hall, Ash, Collins)

We give away a silly goal early on, Skipper equalises, two second half goals

In the pre-season games against Exeter and Plymouth there were flashes of what to expect against Dover. So my way-too-early prediction for Saturday is a baptism of fire awaits Dover with a lopsided score of 5-1 to Torquay. I'll be there!

Great to hear thay DaSilva has signed full time. Looking forward to the new season.

Prediction for opening day.

Dover 1 Torquay 2, could be worth a double with Plymouth 0 Huddersfield 1. Warnock will put one over another of his old clubs. Just £2 would show a decent profit.

Welcome back DDS - good to have another wide option! Still need a CB at some point ideally.

How many subs are we allowed in the NLS does anyone know? I'm hoping 7, but have a feeling it is 5.

I think it's 5. It was 5 in National League last season, wasn't it? Only 3 actual substitutions were allowed, I know that - they voted on it in the NL AGM but it didn't pass. I also remember that it was only NL clubs who voted on that measure as well, since apparently NLS/NLN don't have a fourth official which is supposedly required to administer the additional substitutions.
