Dazza - Three "truly" difficult games. Come on wake up and smell the coffee. Its you that need some perspective. Did Sutton have a "truly" difficult game away to Tranmere today? Apparently not because they beat them (and that was 11 v 11)

Sure Aldershot have started well, but Gateshead? they are a much smaller team than us. As has been said we have the potential to attract bigger crowds than most teams in this league.

Boreham Wood have Paul Benson who is 37 and scored today. We have Fallon - Two years younger but not capable of running around the pitch. A complete waste of space. Then theres Haworth - another of Nicos mates, another waste of space.

Every team is targeting Chaney - it isn't rocket science, he isn't up to it. Rather than sign panic signings like Fallon and Haworth Nico would have been better employed getting a full back in on loan.

Every so often a result will cause more strife amongst supporters than others and todays is one of them. The reason for that is because it was our easiest game so far and we have basically got hammered and been atrocious by the sound of it - if you listen to the manager it seems most of his players gave up at half time. It just isn't good enough and that is why the result has caused so much consternation.

If you want to put this down to Gateshead being a "good side" then good for you but you are deluding yourself.

I see from a request from Gateshead FC that our scheduled match at Plainmoor against the Heed that was due to take place on Saturday 23rd December has been brought forward to Tues 12 Dec. I can see why Gateshead made the request but we did not make up the fixture list and since it would be to our advantage to keep the fixture on the 23 Dec for higher attendance and increased gate receipts in addition to the Heed not really being up for the match being away for pre-xmas, I am not so sure being so accommodating will be in our best interests..

He did a good job against Tranmere. Looks like Gateshead exploited him well though.

Also looks like we were lucky it was only three really.

Good grief that should have been given an X certificate. It was worse than it sounded on the radio yesterday.

Chaney has to be replaced at full back. I am not picking on him but its clear that other teams are exploiting him. All Gatesheads attacks in the first half came down his side of the pitch.

There is no sign of Davis ever playing so Nicholson perhaps ought to jettison Fallon and Haworth and get a full back in on loan.

On those highlights we could have lost 6-0. We appeared completely inept and our players didn't look up for it at all. The best we could manage though were speculative longshots.

Whilst this isn't excuse at all the officials are not helping. The game winning second goal is clearly offside. The officials are as inept as ever.
