Torquay United v Wealdstone - 11th March

We can't blame the officials for our predicament. They are bad and bad for every team.

Torquay United v Wealdstone - 11th March

Lapslie out for 3 games, Collins injured, Jarvis struggling. Bugger all on the bench as has been the case all season. We are currently 7 points from safety as things stand. Im afraid we are doomed and regional football awaits.

The future of Torquay United

Correct. We are a shambles both on and off the pitch.

Gary Johnson, stick or twist? - As of 07/03/23

DevonBee wrote: 08 Mar 2023, 20:50 Do we honestly believe Edwards has a plan B in place ?
I sincerely hope so , but I very much doubt it.
There's barely a plan A at the moment, to expect a plan B from this shambles is a step to far. Unless of course you count producing crap on the pitch and alienating the fans off it, as a plan.

Gary Johnson, stick or twist?

I agree. Regardless of what you think of Gary Johnson it really doesn’t matter now. This team is clearly not good enough to keep us up and I cannot see a scenario where GJ can continue next season in that scenario. The owners/directors clearly don’t WANT to sack him and to be honest it’s too late n...

Solihull Moors v Torquay United - 7th March

Anyone want to guess the excuses that johnson will come up with after tonight lamentable performance. It will be the usual crap under the 'grilling' he'll get from our Dom. The club is an absolute shambles on and off the pitch. Same old mistakes and the unbalanced nature of this squad is unforgivab...

Yep. Appalling on the pitch. Fans treated with contempt off it.

There is no compensation losing against ten men only the facts.
Too late, things needed to change months ago. This stays the same then we are cooked.

Gary Johnson, stick or twist?

He should have been shown the door before Christmas. What an appalling season we are having, same mistakes week in, week out. The buck stops with the manager. His excuse yesterday of 'it's what happens when you're at the bottom' is absolute nonsense. No Gary it's what happens when you sign poor foot...

Dorking v Torquay Tuesday 21st February

Once we scored we looked more likely to grab more goals, red card changes everything that even their commentator said it was a ridiculous red We had an awful first half until we scored. We started the second half well obviously but then we capitulated after the red. Nothing on the bench (as has bee...

Three Strikers

All this "Tony Lee" nonsense. Maybe he doesn't want to sign. Maybe he won't fit in. Maybe he wants too much money. Maybe his club want too much money. Maybe one day people will stop rattling on and on, and just enjoy their footy a bit more. Enjoy their footy?? This season? You having a la...

Gary Johnson, stick or twist?

Agree 100% forevertufc.
I would never condone personal abuse, but the fans have every right to express their views in other ways, it appears Johnson's fragile ego can't take it. At any other club he would be getting absolute pelters from the fans.

Will we stay up?

For those that hold the opinion that it's far too early, to predict relegation, of course they're right in one sense, we all know the picture can change very quickly in football, But the league table doesn't tell any lies after 21 games played, if your bottom of the league, you're not there on bad ...
