Torquay v Guiseley 24/04 (PP on 24/3/18)

Just back from tonight's match. Terrible result, however, let's give some credit to the Guiseley keeper, Joseph Green, who made some stunning saves, especially in the first half. And hats of to the 20 or so hardy souls who travelled down from Guiseley. Entertaining, if embarrassing.......

Torquay United V Guiseley

Just 311 to witness Guiseley 3 Dagenham & Redbridge 5 tonight (19th April). They won't be bringing many supporters to Plainmoor on Tuesday, then! Depending on Saturday's results - could be a fair sized crowd or the lowest league crowd for some years! COYG.

Who will be here next season in the NLS?

It might be a very interesting and exciting season in the NLS. Let's hope so. Hereford? Havant? Hampton? Bath? Maybe, even Truro. Just trying to be positive, despite a desperately disappointing season, especially at Plainmoor.

Alex Fletcher

A great capture and dangerous in the box. Let's hope that he gets a chance to prove his obvious potential for us. Scored for Argyle in their 2-1 loss to Fleetwood, in October.

SIGNING | O’Sullivan Signs On Loan From Colchester United

Energetic and talented attacking midfield player and former Welsh under 21 player of the year. Rather good at free kicks and can score from outside of the box - let's hope he does well for The Gulls.

Torquay United v Maidstone FA Trophy

I couldn't get to Plainmoor yesterday, and saw the Sutton V Truro match. My god, Sutton were poor! Just over 500 hundred there too. A last minute (undeserved) goal, spared Sutton a mid-week replay.

James Gray to start?

I really rate James Gray, he was outstanding in the pre season friendly against Bristol City, especially from a work rate perspective. His goal against Woking, is surely a candidate for goal of the season, anywhere and any time! He MUST start! D.

2nd English Riviera Programme & Memorabilia Fair: Sunday

Thanks for your reply, I have one pre-war Torquay programme in my collection and will bring it along to the fair, if I am able to attend. It is Gulls V Southend, 7th April, 1934. It has some notes and writing, but in good condition, and of course, as rare as they come! I can scan you a copy if you s...

2nd English Riviera Programme & Memorabilia Fair: Sunday

Do any Torquay collectors know how rare a pre-war Torquay programme is? Any ideas of value? Many thanks, D.
