Torquay 4-2 Aveley
More in optimism of a crowd getting behind to fire on the team, than expectation we will win. As many have said, the most excited I have been going to game in a long while

Osborne gone!
Be interesting where this all leads. Fans of other clubs have drummed out owners with lots of money and almost without exception, those clubs have dropped like stones or disappeared altogether. Pretty sure we have been dropping like a stone already in the last few years and disappearing altogether ...

Osborne gone!
Imagine fans and the Supporters Trust wanting the club run by someone who cares, who doesn't want to develop the ground for property, who communicates with supporters and one who hasn't overseen the lowest period in the club's history.
Sounds like too much to ask!

Completely agree, in the circumstancesSouthampton Gull wrote: ↑22 Feb 2024, 20:14 I think the council have looked after us as best they could given the current financial climate. They weren't duped by Osborne so fair play to them I say.

If Clark Osborne hadn't financed the club all these years there would be no Torquay United. If TUST hadn't waged a hate war against him he would still be here, I hope they are satisfied now CO did not finance the club out the goodness of his heart. He wanted the ground for his own purposes. Clearly...

Farnborough v Torquay United Tue 20TH
It was at the start of the season. Christmas it was a top three finish. Now it is a min 7th finish. April despair? Why are we so shit? Compare 2024 squad with some of the players of 2018/19 that played in the national league south. Some real quality players back then for this league. Has Gary Johns...

**23rd March v Hampton & Richmond** - Big Protest Day
WestLondonYellow has a good point, fans and CO keep banging on about these MILLIONS he's put into the club?, really?,I think this figure isn't right, it's not on transfer fees is I?, the two FA cup tv games with gate receipts would of recouped a bit, plus previous other seasons to this one where we...

**23rd March v Hampton & Richmond** - Big Protest Day
Has anyone seen the evidence of this £7million injection that's been put in, ie an official financial report with balance sheet and breakdowns. On Companies house, I've looked and I can't see the evidence, not that that means it doesn't exist, but i cannot find it. What i did find was the Osborne h...

Ronny Nelson Joins Gulls On Loan
Is it GJ realising the defence needs stengthening, or just reacting to Moxey, Marshall and Tomlinson possibly being injured?
Either way, welcome to the club and good luck tomorrow!

New Blue Card
Football rules (and other sports) evolve over time as things change. There was a time before yellow and red cards, before panelty shootouts, before backpasses, before being able to take a kick off with one player. If this can help to erradicate dissent and bring in a middle card for fouls which are ...

I thought a transfer embargo just stopped the affected club from signing players, and does not have any impact on players moving on
