Barrow v Torquay United
Nightmare trip up last night, nightmare 90 mins of football. We were the better side for 30 mins but just didnt create any decent chances. Second half a complete non event. Amazed we all stayed until the end (the few of us who went) Why smith commited to the challenge I do not know. The game was los...

MOTM - Barrow
1. Supporters who stood in the rain for 90 mins and witnessed another shocker. Barrow fans silent all game. 2. Lavercombe - Made some cracking saves (maybe should have saved the 2nd) but once again was let down by some terrible defending. Feel really bad for him. 7-3 to Bromley and 4-0 today. Hope h...

Barrow v Torquay United
The forecast for Saturday looks horrible. If the game is in doubt I hope they make a decision either tomorrow or early Saturday. Im going regardless as book weekend away and can't get the money back so will have to make the most of it. Today and Friday thankfully (according to BBC) weather seems ok....

Torquay v Grimsby
Grimsby played some good football but didn't do a lot with it. They hit the post and had one cleared off the line but we fully deserved a point and on another day it would have been all 3 had the ref not given the penalty (still maintain that it wasnt.) Fair play to Grimsby for bringing over 350. Ma...

I can confirm Kenny got a fantastic reception from everyone at full time. Truely has this club in his heart and I thank him for his many years of service at Torquay United. Best of luck in the future Kenny.

Torquay United v Aldershot Town
I was hoping for some kind of response and unfortunately it was same old Torquay. When I heard Nicho was starting I was immediately worried. Surely he would have got a better idea of his team from the sidelines, especially with no assistant manager. The first 30 minutes wasn't too bad, had a few cha...

Torquay United v Bromley FC
Bromley shouldn't be underestimated here. They're in decent form with 3 wins in a row. They will be confident they can get something here. It certainly won't be a walk in the park like in the trophy match last season. That being said, hopefully this weekend will be the game where the team finally pu...

SOS call to all Torquay supporters..
Hopefully the board put the extra income from the first two games away for such an occasion. Not sure whether the club still has a family deal or anything but would be good to see some more seats filled in the family stand.

SOS call to all Torquay supporters..
Does the club even advertise fixtures in Newton Abbot/Torquay high street? (Honestly have no idea) if not why not? We lost 200-250 fans from the Cheltenham game (taking into consideration 250 odd of the 2000 were Cheltenham fans, it is alarming, however unless the football gets better results wise, ...

Torquay United v Guiseley A.F.C
Great write up as ever forever. Im hoping to be wrong but with two defeats in the last week, i fear we may not meet the 1800 attendance needed to break even on Pauls Budget. I doubt Guiseley will bring more than 100 and I think thats being optimistic. I'll be there anyway. Hope many of you can as we...

I have nothing but respect for Martin Ling. What a tough time for him and his family. The way he was treated by the board is nothing short of a disgrace and I'm convinced had he not had his mental health issues when he did, not only would we still be a Football League side, but quite posibly be play...

Paul Cox spoke on saturday about how there would be inconsistancy during the season and I think we are going to have games like this where one week we will be great and then not good the next. Thats the truth with having a young side. That being said, I think many of us weren't expecting to win last...
