Re: FA Cup 1st Round Draw - Sunday 27th Oct
Again, I agree. How could you not? But I will say this: A - Hopefully the morale boosting victory will come prior to the cup tie, at Bury next week. B - A (relatively) money spinning tie away at the likes of a Wolves, with little potential to damage morale, could provide the platform to achieve even...

Don't disagree, but could work the other way also. Just as it could if we were to win a tougher tie.

Re: FA Cup 1st Round Draw - Sunday 27th Oct
If they're a 'pretty good side' I'd suggest they're best avoided! I'd like a home draw, against a team 2 or 3 leagues below us. It certainly wouldn't guarantee a result, but a comfortable victory and a confidence boost is exactly what we need, and that would be our best chance. Like last year you m...

Re: FA Cup 1st Round Draw - Sunday 27th Oct
Never been, even though I work on the outskirts of the town. Have thought about going quite a few times, and a cup match there would obviously be a no-brainer, although the banter would not be pleasant at all were we to lose!

Re: FA Cup 1st Round Draw - Sunday 27th Oct
For me to attend it will need to be away in the south east quarter of the country. On a selfish note fancy a trip to the Crabble (Dover), or perhaps a home tie against either Dartford or Ebbsfleet, with a Tuesday night replay within a couple of miles of work! Would try to make the journey for Wolves...

Re: Torquay United v Mansfield Town - 19/10/13
My team for today would be: Rice (Poke to come in if and when the incumbent relinquishes grip on first team place) Tonge Pearce O'Connor Cruise Lathrope McCourt Bodin Azeez Chappell Benyon Don't think this will happen of course, am sure Mansell will play, and probably Hawley. With my selection a lit...

And thanks Yellowsmiffy for validating my match thoughts. I always say why say something in 10 words when you can use 50!
I hope this means I am wise before my years also!

Re: Wycombe Wanderers v Torquay United - 12/10/13
 Haha, no worries Smiffs! :-D On another note, I see that Chappell made it into most peoples top 3 for yesterdays performance and i'm just wondering if I missed something and why the reasons are that he was rated as high. It's purely out of interest, it is funny how fans see performances diffe...

Re: A Question for the Board of Directors
What you say is correct Portugull, but to attempt to reconcile this to where Matt may be coming from, whether expenditure on a long-term asset or on day to day expenses, cash still has been spent. Fixed assets should be funded out of long-term investment, long-term financing (loan) or surplus cash/p...
