Reading the Herald Express website today it shows that Chairwomen Thea Bristow and other directors of Torquay United are backing CH to bring us straight back up next year and will support him to the hilt in his quest to make sure this happens. We cant thank Thea enough for her support and money to e...

Re: Best, Worst, and most important games of last season!

One of the worst games for team selection has to be Aldershot away under Taylor when we lost 1-0 . Taylor brings on morris for stevens and we go 1-0 down and for the rest of the game leaves Benyon on the bench. even Simon Baker commented that he could not beleive why Benyon didnt come on when we wer...

Re: Alan Knill CONFIRMED as new Torquay manager

Im Sure Alan Knill would of requested brass as his assistant at the time of his appointment or he has been told that he has to take taylor who I thought would be gone by now at the same time as Lingy!

Re: Torquay United v Cheltenham Town - 17.5.12

I'm not sure the boys could have done much more tonight they really gave it their best but in the end it wasn't good enough. We have had our chances and if you look at the last six games ( no wins ) you cant help think that we threw it away. OK we may have overachieved this season but when you are si...

Re: Can we do it?

We have to start with 4-4-2 and Id play Jarvis and Mcphee up front ,I know this will upset a few of you but you have to give him a chance as we are running out of options,Atieno looked lazy last Sunday and did not do much when he came on , so I would leave him on the bench. While most of you are wat...

Re: cheltenham town v torquay united - 13/5/12

Cant see Torquay coming back from two down ,Oastler had a shocker , Saah MOM for Torquay . not a win in 6 now , Lingy has certainly got problems with a few players heads down as if to say the season is over.still we need to come out firing next Thursday night ( UK time ) Id even thrown on Mcphee as ...

Re: Hereford United v Torquay United - 5/5/12

You have to go back a month or so when Torquay were sitting second in the league 4 points in front of Crawley admittedly Crawley they had two games in hand but we had a chance to strengthen the squad by the loan market but lingy believed the current squad can do the job and the only player he would ...

Re: Going into the final 3 games – the fight for promotion

We will have to win the 3 games I reckon as I believe Shrewsbury will be promoted owing to the 4 point buffer its going to be tight between us and Crawley . I know we are only a small club and the monies tight but we should of brought a couple of loan players in as I'm not sure the current team can ...
