According to my Grimsby supporting Godson Adam, TUFC defender Josh Gowling is set to join the Mariners on a season long loan.

1-1, as predicted. Sounds like a much better performance from TUFC, but the team still can't get over that line with all three points.

Torquay 1-1 Chester. A few contributors to this blog have called me out for consistent 1-1 predictions. I think this match fixture TUFC fans should be hoping for a point given the situation the club finds itself in.

Matt Rhead is rumoured to be signing for Torquay on an initial loan deal until 31 Dec, at which point Rhead can then trigger a release clause in his Lincoln City contract.

Tonight, I was once again informed that Paul Cox will be joining Torquay United in the coming days. He is expected to bring Matt Rhead and Ben Marvin in as assistant coaches, due to his regular assistants John Simpson and Mickey Moore being unable to commit to regular weekend commutes to the deep So...

Both teams have scored in the last five meetings between Woking and TUFC. I think that run will be maintained here with a 1-1 draw. Innih Effiong and Yan Klukowski with the goals.

At least Paul Cox comes to TUFC with a reputation for turning round underperfoming teams. It looks like he will need to do it again if The Gulls are to beat the drop this season.

What's with all these ghastly anti Barrow e-mails? Regardless, I am reliably informed that Paul Cox will be unveiled as new Torquay manager after Saturday's match. He will be bringing Matt Rhead in on loan with him from Lincoln City.
