Hoping to come away from Plainmoor in a much better frame of mind than a couple of Tuesdays ago. Think we may see a home win courtesy of Mr Keating.

Players deserving of more than the one star for turning up.....Clark in goal, Young in midfield (just), though he is from the Trappist monk school of captaincy and Keating.

6 goals, a penalty save......and yet it was of the worst games I've seen at Plainmoor. The first half had absolutely nothing to redeem it, can't recall a shot anger, bar the 20 second pinball salvo in our six yard box. Second home game of the season and hopefully our first three points. How about a 3-1 win for the Gulls. Have happy memories of Torquay v Boreham Wood of yesteryear. The only time I have been involved in Matchball sponsorship Torquay beat Boreham Wood 5-0 in the FA Cup.

First post for me....will start with an optimistic 1-0 win for the Yellows. Defence looked a lot more organized on Saturday.
