Re: Torquay 2nd XI v Swindon

Ashley Barnes
Scored against Plymouth last night - who would have thought he would end up playing for a team currently second in league one. Apparently he gave a gesture to the Devonport End after scoring. He is one surly bugger that's for sure. Personally though I wish him all the best and hope he doesn't score ...

Re: "Fatness test"!
Yep - all he has to do is lose some weight, get fit, start banging the goals in and stop looking like a western league player. Simples.

Re: Stevenage vs Torquay - 18th September
There is a non league look to the Stevenage team and I think their full backs are vulnerable. That said i would swap Tim Sills for Billy Kee any day of the week. Still thinks SIlls would be a far better option to accompany Bnyone or Zenroski up front. Both players would benfit from playing alongside...

Re: Billy Kee and Eunan O'Kane
Did someone say that it was ridiculous putting O'Kane in central midfield - thats his best position isn't it. he is very skilful but he cannot really impose himself in that position. He isn't really a winger either so really he is bench fodder really. i have seen Kee only once against Bradford and h...

Re: Accrington game
Missed this game and a good job I did by the sound of it. A shame it seems that Buckle has reverted to type and started playing mad team formations again (it didn't take him long). Apparently it was all to do with the dry pitch (well thats what he said afterwards). Will Billy Kee ever score? - big r...

Re: Southend - Torquay
Exactly - maybe the Buckle arrogance coming out again. You cannot hardly have it both ways - he was quick to trot out the line about the number of miles travelled and games played after Saturdays defeat but he chose the option not to rest some of the squad on Tuesday night, so really if tiredness wa...

Re: Southend - Torquay
I am not sure how Southend had alot of luck as everybody seems to think they were by far the better team for the best part of the game - if tiredness was an excuse, and perhaps a reasonable one, in the circumstances you have got to query why a few players were not rested on Tuesday night. For me I w...
