Re: Manager Gone...
So, you're blaming Rob, not only for your abject failure to plan your life correctly, for not having the foresight to ask one of your many local friends to pick you up a ticket but also for the mechanical failure of a piece of complex equiptment? As it happens, I am good at fax machine repair, hit ...

Re: Manager Gone...
ENZO, Football supporter wanted. Ability to assess the likely size of a crowd, and either buy a ticket in advance or turn up appropriately early. Not essential though. Matt. Ability to buy a ticket in advance would have been great! You should apply for the job, you seem to have a good grasp of this...

Re: Manager Gone...
Experience of succesfully getting 5,000 people into a football ground in an hour and a quarter would help. Not essential though.Fonda wrote: What does it involve?
I hope your new employers were not freezing their nuts off in the queue on Saturday. Not the best advert for Stadium Management.

Re: FA Cup v Crawley Tickete'd
Crowd was 5065, but there were big queues and a delayed kick-off, so I think with hindsight the board got things about right. How many of those will come back is another question. No doubt the club will say that, but in my opinion this whole cup tie has highlighted what a tin-pot adminstration we h...

Re: FA Cup 4th Round - Torquay United vs Crawley Town
Wow......somebody tell me that I have just had a bad dream - one where TUFC are shown up as a complete shambles on and off the pitch. I think Bucks and the players got lost in the hype of this and we didn't turn up. It was obvious what an Evans side would do and we fell for it - we completely lost o...

Re: Wycombe Wanderers vs Torquay United
Agree with all the positive comments about last night's game. For a game against a Play Off rival, the gulf between the two sides was massive and my only concern was at the amount of chances we failed to put away - at 2-1 Wycombe were being totally outclassed but with players like Ainsworth and Bets...

Re: Oxford vs Torquay - Match Thread
This game will live long in the memory - On several occasions during the drive from London to Oxford I considered not bothering with this one, but am glad I did. Oxford started like a team with a makeshift defence who had recently been hammered 5-0. For ten minutes I thought it was going to be a bre...

Re: Gillingham vs Torquay Match Thread
I am delighted with the draw, but that was a terrible game of football played for long periods in almost eerie silence - had the feel of a reseve game or pre-season friendly. One of the worst performances I have seen under Buckle - largely devoid of any kind of creation and for long periods we looke...

Re: Fans Forum write up.
Bit of a shame that Bucks chose to make this public really. I would like to think that the query over TS's comitment comes over worse in writing than when said at the forum, and Bucks did also say that Sills was one of his best signings. I'd still question why he needed to go into this detail though...

Re: Southend - Torquay
This was a game too far after a long week for our brave boys! For an hour we looked like a team who had played three tough away games in a week with extra time thrown in having spent long periods on the coach rather than the training pitch. We looked leggy and sluggish all ove the park and Southend ...
