Re: League One
Statto here, 45 disappointing minutes at Bradford, and a 5 minute cameo against AFC Wimbledon is all I can recall. But the lad has been injured and Joe Oastler's form has been nothing short of outstanding recently.

Re: League One
Completely and utterly agree Glostergull. I hope Mr Ling has won us all over and got all our trust and support now.
That said, Daniel Leadbitter currently occupies the number 12 shirt so perhaps you should take your issue up with him.

Re: Torquay.v.Dagenham Tue. 24/1/12
I am not using it as an excuse - we won 1-0. I was merely trying to justify the fact we didn't play very well. Performance should be secondary to the result and our lads deserve all the praise going for the effort they are putting in.

Re: Torquay.v.Dagenham Tue. 24/1/12
To get 3 more points so soon after Saturday's gruelling match in the howling wind at Morecambe speaks volumes about this group of players. Yes our performance lacked quality and cohesion tonight, but our determination and team spirit saw us across the finish line. Sometimes you have to win ugly and ...

Re: Taiwo Atieno
I am saying Atieno deserves to get the nod as his work rate has been impeccable. Sends out the completely wrong message to Atieno if he gets replaced by someone who has missed 7 games of our season due to his own stupidity and irresponisbly. 10 points out of 12 since he's been in the team, Atieno st...

Re: Taiwo Atieno
Can not fault the guy's work rate at all; has put in the miles in each of the 4 games since he got his chance and lends himself to some excellent defensive duties in the last ten minutes too. Sadly a 1 goal return for 4 starts is not ideal for the figurehead of our attack, however as long as the tea...

Re: Macclesfield Town v Torquay United, 14/01/12, League 2
Gulls continue to soar. They say a week is a long time in football, no greater applied to Torquay United’s trip up north to Moss Rose to play Macclesfield. Indeed, just seven days ago The Silkmen could count themselves mightily unlucky not to beat Premier League Bolton in the cup in front of a pac...

Again, very tough to choose, each player is performing to their absolute maximum as reflected by our continued excellent form.

Re: Plymouth Argyle vs Torquay United
That was unbelievable, it doesn't get any better than that. In no state to write anything coherent but every TUFC fan in that ground will never forget that match, and every TUFC around the world should be monumentally proud of their football team. Similar to the match at Plainmoor, it was an even ma...

Re: Moronic "supporters"
I think a part of the problem at Sheffield was a group on 15/16 year old Chesterfield fans who decided they would come along and show their hatred towards the Blades. In fact it was them who devised and started the Ched Evans chant in question, so its not a case of our fans deciding to set out to ha...
