Re: Accrington game
Don't think Carlisle is unfit, yellow, he was just playing in a bit of a bizarre position, squidged between Manse and Wroe. When he was wide right, he put Zebs through a few times in the first few minutes, and I reckon that would be a good combination in future. Sadly, a few were on his back again, ...

Re: Accrington game
Well. Received a text on my way home saying we're top of the league and that made me realise that things aren't so bad after all... Haven't read this thread yet, so apologies if I repeat what has already been said, but the first 5 minutes made me think we were going to win comfortably. Carlisle out ...

Re: Accrington game
Revolting weather again today, wonder how slippery the pitch will be? At least I can take my time coming down if Nico isn't going to score till second half ;-) Looking forward to the game, even though suspect it won't be the most exciting spectacle with the 2 mean defences (thank goodness Ellis didn...

Re: Danny Senda?
There's a brief mention of him on the Bees forum now too, apparently Andy Scott is looking for a RB and Senda's name has been suggested. No, it wasn't me.

Re: Torquayfans.com Player of the season award
I agreed when Gulliball mentioned this that it's a good idea..two points I would make however. Firstly that 5 players is maybe stretching it a bit, would it not be better to just vote on the top two or three outstanding performances? And secondly, and no offence Joe, but surely all the voting should...

Crossbar Challenge
Ooh... http://www.torquayunited.com/page/News/0,,10445~2149727,00.html In the unlikely event that my number is picked, and they do not class me as being 'not physically able' (depends if they count footwear as a disability), who wants to be my substitute...? ;-) Hope this takes off, it seems to be a...

Re: Player of the month went to....
Welcome to the site, Mr Le Fondre  In my own humble opinion, it would seem that forwards and keepers are more likely to scoop awards than midfielders/defenders, purely on the grounds that it is 'easier' to assess their performances in goals, assists, clean sheets. However, I do realise that now...

I loved all these Peter Kay ads, but unfortunately, couldn't remember which product he was advertising. Perhaps I'm just not very open to advertising...

Re: Manager of the Month
Yep, absolutely. Well done Bucks, it would have made a mockery of the awards if it had gone to anyone else really. It does mean, however that at least until Saturday, I shall be saluting magpies, not passing people on the stairs and not running over any black cats in an attempt to lift the curse... ...

Re: Exeter reserve game
Hee hee, Matt is drooling over our 4th goal, Macklin.
Andy - he hasn't noticed senda, City have done nothing to cause concern and Palmer is dealing with any long balls

Re: Exeter reserve game
Will do, Andy, but I'd imagine from what Matt's saying that our defence haven't had too much to do..
