This has to be the dawn of a new era now, if nothing changes -nothing changes, Downes is a very likeable guy but he isn't the answer going forward, we need a fresh approach,I'd like to think 4 or 5 players max will stay, the rest need to go, and I'm talking about the bigger names in the squad:Halste...

I'm not trying to be negative or unfair, but I really don't believe Aaron Downes is the answer for our next permanent manager, nice guy and all that, but we need a clean slate now, a new era has to start.

Would also add that I'm not expecting anything remotely near promotion next season, I think we'll be a top half team, a steady campaign upper mid table finish..I still think the league is a lot stronger than other fans realise.

Think McGavin and Dawson have to go, all the other players stated to keep I agree with, and to let go as well, Craske if fully fit and with a good pre season will be an asset to the club next season.

Maybe a tad harsh,Lovett, Archer,Booth,Mox and poss Hall, all the rest I'm expecting will leave, the names stated on reflection could do s job in NLS, I like Downes, he's a likeable bloke, but he's not the answer going forward.

Well some immediate relief due to survival but really what a truly awful team this year, with utterly abysmal management. I'm probably being unfair on some individuals, but collectively whether the club remains full time or part time, I wouldn't be sorry to see the entire squad leave and start agai...

I hope to God it isn't Chris Dawson. The bare minimum we need going forward is an owner who is at the very least a football fan. Dawson isn't and then you've got to ask yourself why does he want the club, we may have not heard the last about a new stadium. BTW other on Alan Merson's site he says Da...

You'll have to explain this one to me. How does selling out all your tickets make a club tinpot? Clubs like Liverpool and Man United, who sell out week after week, must feel really embarrassed being tinpot so frequently. Well said, I hate all this "tinpot" calling, and some of our fans ne...

I cannot see Aaron Jarvis playing for Gulls again, I can't see what's going to change in few days,he hasn't featured today, what'll change by Tues night?, I think we'll go "blanket" defensive mode and play for a point, going into Havant game knowing a win will seal it.

Staying Up - Relegation Battle
I don't wish to be the purveyor of doom. However, in my opinion, it shows how far this club has fallen that contributors to this site are relying on the failures of part-time clubs to keep this full-time club in this league. I realise that the points' deduction has played its part, but as I have co...

Truro v Torquay to be played at Meadow Park, Gloucester
Yep, I understand that have got Archie Harris from Bournemouth , we had him early this year but yet another playerJohnson insisted on playing out of position, if Truro play him at his preferred position of left back, Stobbs will not get a look in tomorow, Archer is quicker and a lot tougher. That's...

Truro v Torquay to be played at Meadow Park, Gloucester
Truro were taken over by some Canadian dude, all I know is Paul Wotton and Tyler Harvey both signed contract extensions shortly afterwards, not sure what the blokes business is, but he obviously got spondulix to splash....as documented, Gloucester city pitch is artificial, and we don't play great on ...
