Thanks to our owner
I`m well aware of the cynicism and scepticism surrounding our owner and rightly so but GJ in an in interview said everyone at the Club including Clarke was deserving of praise and I`m happy to go with that view. I hope The Man puts in an appearance at the Hungerford match, if ever there was a game h...

Torquay United v Eastbourne Borough 13/4/19
Agree with desperado, the title race in 1967/68 was tighter and to be fair our challenge began to fade over the last 9 fixtures, only 2 wins and a draw. None the less devastating to this 10 year old. This would be a collapse on a new scale and I cant see that happening. Having said that I think we`l...

Our League Form under Gary Johnson
You`re quite right Plainmoor78, I did not recall our earlier achievements winning a couple District titles, thanks. Now if you can tell me who the manager(s) was/were I`ll be really impressed.

Our League Form under Gary Johnson
Assigning a pecking order to managers is always going to be subjective eg Shankly or Paisley, take your pick. My own measure is achieve something memorable, maybe against the odds and if possible do it over a sustained period. I`m a fan of GJ he`s class but for me its way too soon to label him as on...

TUFC Fans Banned?
I understand why pitch invasions happen but my view is save it till the end of game. Running onto the field when we scored our equaliser did us no favours. Woking at that stage were rocking and we may well have been able to go on and win the game, there was time; remember Woking still very nearly pi...

When will we be crowned Champions??
Hopefully Eastbourne or at worst Chippenham that way the Hungerford game can be a celebration for all concerned, and I assume the trophy will be presented at the end of the game...signal party time

Woking FC v Torquay United 6/4/19
Interesting to read that many Cards Forum members give their side little chance. I`m particularly fond of jonwoozley who thinks Woking will "get our arse served up on a plate" and predicts 3-0 to Gulls. My personal opinion is I think we`ll win the game. All the pressure is on Woking. I thi...

Torquay United v Chelmsford City - PP 2/4/19
Amused to read this morning comments by a CCFC fan Cornishclaret on their forum. Having a pop about our "FIVE" Bristol City loanees. As I recall only CLE played the whole 90 mins (scored), JE played 25 mins (scored) and SJ didnt feature at all. Dont know who the other 2 Bristol lads are !!...

Torquay United v Chelmsford City - PP 2/4/19
Well that was well worth braving the cold for. That was a dominant performance. We played with a high line, we pressed quickly allowing Chelmsford very little time, we spread the play, moved the ball quickly and with a purpose and our attacking play was incisive. 3 quality goals and could have been ...

Very good 3 points. Showed our metal today to outplay a pretty decent side playing for most of the game with a player less. We`re going to need that resolve when we eventually do play Woking cos as can be seen from their last two results they will battle until the 97th minute if need be.

Every game against the teams near the bottom is a potential banana skin. I dont know why some think we`re going to steamroller these teams. A very bad result for sure but there wasn`t a single winner amongst the top 11 sides today. A missed opportunity yes but could have been even worse.
