Tiverton Town v Torquay United.

I'm all for a bit aggression and will to fight but when, by the sounds of it, an opposition player is put in danger once, let alone multiple times that's not what we want. Reid isn't usually that kind of player so hopefully just a blip on a bad night in general.

Tiverton Town v Torquay United.

Well that was a bit of a damp squib but as said on this thread it is only pre season, i remember us beating a WBA side full of first teamers last year but we still got beat by Sutton Utd who had 10 men and a full back in goal!!

New kit

That's a real shame, I assumed with it being Nike and from Pro Direct there may be similar kits out there, but for them to be the exact same is a real shame

Fan Survey Results

A very interesting read, I am impressed at the range of questions asked rather than just asking "Do we need a new stadium or not" which gives me hope that GI are in it for the long run and do want to run our club at a sustainable and professional level.

I do believe they need to make better use of the facilities they have, limited as they are, such as the Gulls Nest. I don't feel it is publicised enough by the club that the Gulls Nest is open to fans before the game, I have only started going in there myself the early part of last season as a mate of mine told me, but not everyone will have that mate to tell them and would depend on the club informing them.

The articles on the website could do with being a bit more thorough, I feel the match previews are very much "this is who we are playing and when" and little else. Team news, opposition's form and injuries, promoting the Gulls Nest for a beer or coke before the game and also club news. Having a page dedicated to any upcoming events, information on TUFC in the community and their latest sessions or soccer camps. All these little things could help to bring people closer to the club.

Torquay vs Bristol city

Very tidy display tonight, Chaney has his flaws but I thought for a player who plays generally in central midfield he put a shift in at LB, excited to see Higgins and Davis as our full backs. Gosling is a very very tidy player, glides past players as if they aren't there. Gowling was loud and commanding as you want from a experienced centre half and possible captain?? Luke Young is Luke Young, gives everything for the team, although I do worry if he's going full tilt all game every game we may see another injury similar to those he has already had. A very long first post from myself, I have always been told I like the sound of my own voice!!
